Fixtures for the weekend

Saturday: Academy u6/7 play Stoneyford in Carrigeen astro turf, kick off 11am. This will be the first game ever for some of the boys and girls as they set out on their soccer journey.

U11 home to Seaview Celtic, kick off 10.30

A tough encounter in store as Seaview always produce decent footballing sides but the lads are chugging along nicely training away in the muck every Tuesday and Thursday in Ashgrove.

U13 away to Park Rangers, kick off 10.30

This side have not played in a long time and will hope that Park Rangers will be just as rusty in this early kick off. Training has stepped up the last few weeks, so hopefully a big performance will be produced.

2b home to Tramore Rangers, kick off 2pm.

Fingers crossed, this squad will get a run out tomorrow. They have stuck to the task to date with big numbers continuing to train as the aim to extend the lead at the top ahead of their nearest rivals Tramore and Carrick who meet on Sunday.

Sunday: 4th division away to Kilmacow, kick off 11am. A tricky derby match which will decide if our golden generation play in the top half or compete for the plate. Rumours will be circling of match fixing similar to Germany and Austria in the 1982 world cup but the lads will want to claim the bragging rights in this big derby, Surely???

Support as always is welcome for all teams this weekend.

Academy continues this evening at 6 in Carrigeen astro turf if anyone fancies helping out. Big numbers continue to train every week so help is always welcome.
