Declan Walsh and Sons are nearly done with their section of the drainage works and await the next stage of slit drains before final works are completed before sowing of the grass. A phenomenal amount of work put in over the last month by the lads. The space created will shock a lot of people who knew the ground of old with the banks all around the pitch and the old hurling pitch fenced in with concrete posts and wire. The club will hold an open morning at the ground in a number of weeks, more details to follow on this. We would like to thank everyone who has helped get the ground to this stage.
