Congratulations to Mooncoin U16 Camogie team on winning their recent League final against Glenmore 👏🏆

Semifinal 2 of the Women’s Euro 2022, with Germany vs France, was an engrossing match and held in the fabulous MK Dons stadium.

The German fans were out in force, and a merry band from Ireland too.

There was a mini medal ceremony in Suir Crescent as a number of u11 cup winning boys received their medals

Rory Farrell, Luke Henebery and John Mackey were all smiles during the medal giving with Martin and Lyndsey only happy to pose for the photo.

It was mentioned this evening that it is 31 years on from his dad Eddie winning an U12 League medal with the club in the same centre back position as John. For the record, John seems more stylish on the ball!

Watmór Construction are moving along nicely with all the poles for our LED Floodlighting stood and ground repaired. Superb work as usual from Declan Walsh and his crew.

So this one passed by way as it was the winning ticket from the Soccer Marathon draw but we finally managed to catch one of our recent winners of our Schoolboys and Schoolgirls 50 50 draw, youth player Mikey Cronin who scooped €242. Enjoy the spending Mikey!

Day 2 and the Mooncoin Celtic tour are on the move to watch Euro 22 Semifinal 2.
