Cold evening in Suir Crescent for Dixie Dribblers academy which is kindly sponsored by Eastgate Engineering this evening but it warmed up pretty quickly with the newly opened Mooncoin Celtic Town Centre with a state of the art tunnel among other features to keep the kids busy. Well done to our player of the week winners Sean, Sophie, Sadhbh and Ellis. Finally, thank you to all coaches and Nicola for ensuring a fun filled session.

12A Mooncoin Celtic 0 Tramore 0

A great effort from the boys this morning from 1 till 12 players that were there had plenty off chances to take the win outstanding performance from the tramore keeper kept us a bay and none the less good performance from the boys onwards and upwards

U10 Tramore AFC 0 Mooncoin Celtic 2

Excellent game of football on display today and both teams were applauded off the park by a very big entertained crowd . James McCarthy opened the scoring with a stunning strike from outside of the box after a series of fantastic saves from the Tramore keeper . Joe McTigue put in a man of the match performance at centre back and Rhian Dunne popped up in the box late on to seal a memorable win at the seaside

U14’s Mooncoin Celtic 4 Park Rangers 1

Another good result for the lads ,worked hard created lots of chances and on another day could have had at least 10.Some excellent performances today, work rate ,passing and winning the ball back .And you can see the difference in the guys that are training every week.Goals from Eoin Barden,Oisin O Hanlon,Edmund Murphy and Harry Hearne .

U12b De la salle 6 Mooncoin Celtic 1

Another decent performance from this group, but soft goals cost us dearly. Ordhran Bradley with our first goal of the season from the spot which he buried into the back of the net. Still positives to take and the effort was top notch from everyone .

U12B Girls Portlaw 0 Mooncoin Celtic 0

The score belies the grit and performance the girls put in today. We had 3 great chances from the girls, a few knocks and injuries to Clodagh and Evie, and again great spirit from all of the girls.

u10 Girls Mooncoin Celtic 1 Park Rangers 4

A game of 2 halves for our young U10 girls. Up against a very organised and experienced park rangers side. A bit timid in the first half led to park rangers going up 4-0. A chat at half time. Talking to the girls about being brave and putting in good tackles and being confident let to mooncoin winning the second half 1-0. A great run from Eimear Mackey on the left wing to cross in for Maisie Corcoran who slotted the ball in the net. A great performance in the second half from Cara on Goal and our defence made sure it a clean sheet in the second half. An excellent first match for our girls.
