League leaders Dungarvan were our visitors this morning in bright cold conditions and this young group were given a simple game plan in nullifying the stronger outfit. Everyone of the boys were disciplined in shape and positioning in the first half and went in 1-0 down at half time. Second half saw Dungarvan try everything to breach the boys but some brilliant defensive work throughout saw them hold Dungarvan to long range efforts and they nicked a second goal to win the three points on offer. Big improvements in this young squad who will pick up points as the season runs on.

A big thanks to everyone that helped set up for the day, Wild Willow Coffee Trailer for pitching up for the day and our two chefs Adam Cunningham and Mark Quinn for running the BBQ.
