Sign added to acknowledge support

We added a second sign recently to Suir Crescent acknowledging Kilkenny County Council’s contribution towards the development. In 2019, we were awarded €30000 by the Council towards security fencing and hedging. With the fencing and planting of hedging completed it has added a real structure to the boundary of the ground. That brings the contribution in grants towards the development to €105,000 to date and without these grants some of the work completed so far would not have been possible. To all that contributed towards the successful applications, a big thank you.

Last Man Standing Update

Birthday boy Robbie Tebay who turned 7 today will have the last laugh in Kilmovee this week as a late Newcastle equaliser sent his father Derek Tebay out of the running for the €500 prize. Substitutions in the Aston Villa game saw Eoin Dunphy progress and 2 punters were happy Man Utd done their usual in scraping a late win. We have 6 on Everton and 2 on West Ham tomorrow evening. Also, we lost 10 on Chelsea yesterday and not 9 as previously stated, so 22 are through to Week 7 so far with fixtures starting next Friday evening.

300 Club Update

Due to Covid restrictions we are unable to hold the 300 members club monthly draws. By end of March we will be three months behind. At present our plan is to have four draw at the end of April to bring us up to date. We are playing the Lotto on a weekly basis so all members are in the lotto draws and this will continue during lockdown.
