School Boys/Girls and Junior League Football in South Kilkenny
This evening our u14 Girls were presented with their new jerseys which were kindly sponsored by Ashgrove Transport, a big thank you from all the girls and coaches. Ashgrove Transport have kindly sponsored a set for one of U12 Girls teams aswell so again many thanks for the support.

A day to forget for our youth team who were overpowered by a very good Park Rangers outfit.
Our first team will be kicking themselves over not claiming three points in this one. A couple of easy chances were passed up to win it near the end. Conor Stacey and Ryan Carroll got the goals on the day.
Sluggish performance from start to finish here with little between the teams. Red Star had one shot on goal from a free kick which turned out to be the winner. Sean Grace went close in the first half hitting the post, this was as close as we got.
The drainage works on Suir Crescent were completed this week and security fencing is near completion. Ball stop netting is next up and will commence on Monday all going well. The final piece of works of this phase will be hedging to be planted on the perimeter of the ground. Slowly getting there.
With 16 teams in total taking to pitch in hope of glory this season, we are looking for new coaches, both male and female. We have 5 girls teams and 7 boys teams entered and require more help.

A disappointing result this evening in Ashgrove. Neville Synnott got his customary goal but the main talking point of the game was all about the two penalties St Joseph’s got unfortunately.
