The lads performed brilliantly yesterday in conditions not seen since the World Cup in Qatar and with a depleted squad really put it up to the home team.

Indeed it was Kilmacthomas who started the brightest pinning us into our own half and scoring a goal which although deemed offside by the linesman was allowed to stand. The lads rallied after the first water break and Donncha struck a superb equaliser.

Second half started with plenty of end to end action which led to Kilmacthomas taking the lead with a well taken goal.

Mooncoin pressed on for an equaliser which never came but not for the want of trying.
