50-50 Draw winner for June wins €226

The Mooncoin Celtic Schoolgirls and Schoolboys 50/50 draw was held last Sunday and the winner was:

Mary Dalton

Mary won €226

Next draw is 26th June at 6:00pm.

Best of luck to Waterford SchoolGirls in Gaynor Plate Final

Delighted to be able to wish the very best of luck to all in the Waterford Schoolgirls development squad as they take on Mayo in the Gaynor Plate final on Saturday.

And of course special mention to the Mooncoin players Emily, Ella and Aoibhe and the Mooncoin coaches involved Victor, Dick and Derek.

U14 Gaynor Cup week

The 2022 Gaynor Cup at U14 level will be run over June 7th – 11th in the University of Limerick and all here at MCFC would like to wish the whole Waterford U14 Development squad the best of luck.

With special mention for Mooncoin girls, Emily, Elle and Aoibhe and the Mooncoin coaches involved Victor, Dick and Derek.

Final Academy Session for the Season

A beautiful sunny evening in Suir Crescent was the scene for our final academy session of the season.

Ice cream enjoyed by all boys, girls and coaches as well as a little bit of soccer. Hope to see all academy kids back on the 25th June for our Soccer Marathon and returning for academy sessions in September.

Dani and Marti are heading home

This week saw the final training session for both Marti and Dani before their return home to Spain.

What a season they have had with both the u15 and u16 squads. A league title with the u15s and cup finals with both squads.

They are pictured with their u15 team mates recieving their squad jerseys . We wish them all the best and hope that they come back to visit us soon.

Two fantastic players and two great kids that will be missed by us all.

50-50 winner in May picks up their winning cheque

Congratulations to Geraldine O’Brien on scooping €272 in last Sunday’s 50 50 draw.

Geraldine is pictured collecting her cheque from Eileen and Catherine from our Ladies Committee.
