Congratulations to Eddie Moore on scooping the €1,000 prize on offer for the Last Man Standing, pipping Ray Wall and Luke O’Keeffe on goals scored by his selection.
Thanks to everyone for supporting this Fundraiser and we will be back in August with another big prize to win.
The once mighty Man Utd and Chelsea cost two of our entrants a place in round 9 of our Last Man Standing competition. 5 remaining with the last round of Premier league fixtures being round 9 in the hunt for the €1000.
ATTENTION ATTENTION
Due to the large volume of calls received on collection of larger items of scrap, we are extending the dropping off of scrap to Ashgrove until this Saturday 14th May.
Thank you to all that have contributed to date.
Catherine Blackmore will not be a happy lady after Wolves decided to have an off day and send Catherine tumbling out at Week 7 of our Last Man Standing competition. This leaves 7 entries heading into week 8 and the race for the €1000 hots up.
The weekend gone saw 2 unlucky fallers thanks to Brighton and Leicester only drawing their respective games. The final 8 entries will have a tough job this week with the majority of top teams selected by all already. Best of luck to the remaining 8 in the hunt for €1000.
Congratulations to this week’s winner, Anne Kearns who receives €295 for supporting our 50-50 draw for our Schoolboys and Schoolgirls teams. Thank you to all for your continued support.

15 entries dropped over the weekend and 26 head in to a very tricky week 5. Selections to be in by 5pm on Friday evening for those in the hunt for €1000. Best of luck to all remaining entries.
The current table has 3 players on top.
While there were only a handful of fallers last week, this week saw over 60 fallers in Last Man Standing, with City and Southampton catching out a boat load of players.
That leaves 41 players still standing.
New for this years LMS is a leaders table, this is used in the case were LMS gets to the final game of the Premier League and there are still players remaining. As such there can only be one winner the leader in this table and at this point in time there are 9 players in prime position for the win.
But one false prediction and a leader this week could be out of the competition altogether.
Best of luck to all players for round 4 which will be played April 2nd 2022.
