Last Man Standing Update

50 entries head in to Week 5 hoping to get an easy passage towards the €500 on offer. The majority are on Leicester with 24 going for a home win against Sheffield Utd. Aston Villa and Liverpool are the brave choice of two of our entrants. 2 have gone for Crystal Palace, with 4 each on Everton and Chelsea. The remainder have gone for Man City against Fulham. We are still waiting on one young man to pick his selection before the 7pm cut off.

New development progress in Suir Crescent.

The first of hopefully many signs was put in place last week in our new development in Suir Crescent. Following the completion of drainage works and ball stop netting, we were only too delighted to display the sign from the National Lottery and the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sports and Media outlining their funding contribution towards work. The €75000 grant we received was a huge help in getting works completed and getting us ready to move in to our new development. The application deadline for the latest round of grants closed recently and fingers crossed we will be successful again in receiving funding towards the next stage of the development.

Last Man Standing Update

89 head in to what is a tricky Week 4 of our competition. Again, a wide variety of choices with 8 on Arsenal in the early kick off, 4 on West Ham against Leeds on Monday evening, 3 on Southampton, 1 each on Man City, Wolves and Aston Villa, 10 people are hoping Leicester get out of their recent slump against Brighton tonight , 32 have gone for inconsistent Spurs against Crystal Palace and 27 people are hoping Liverpool will win at home for the first time in 3 years! Still a couple of entries to get their picks in but that is the lay of the land with the majority going for Liverpool, Spurs and Leicester. 3 clubs who have been struggling recently so a lot of faith is being put in them by people.
Best of luck to all remaining entries.

Last Man Standing Update

After yesterday’s games, we lost 7 entries who had been on Leeds, Wolves and Brighton. 22 entries through yesterday after Man City (21) and West Brom won, hats off to Liam Law for his punt on West Brom.
Today, sees 23 going on Spurs, 27 hope Liverpool can bounce back after a shocking run, 2 on Leicester and 2 on Crystal Palace. The remainder of 17 are on Everton tomorrow evening.
Best of luck to all remaining entries.

Last Man Standing Update

After todays fixtures we have lost another 5 and we have 100 entries through to date.
7 are on Brighton tomorrow evening. So 32 exited this weekend so far, with 4 people having 2 entries still standing.
Unfortunately the Klopp wind didn’t blow at Old Trafford this evening to see United lose but we will continue next weekend with surely more fallers in our Last Man Standing Competition.
