We will be postponing this month’s monthly draw which was scheduled for Sunday 29th March due to the COVID-19 crisis.

A disappointing end to our youth teams season after dominating the game throughout. Several chances were created by ourselves but the finishing touch was lacking and it came back to bite the lads when Johnville nicked a winner with 15 minutes remaining. The lads can be proud of their efforts today against the team currently top of the Youth B league.
Big thanks must go to coaches Richard Long and Victor Bailey for their work and patience all season with this squad.

There are 120 matches left to predict in the 19/20 season and all of them will have a baring on the final winner of the Last Man Standing competition.

Here at LMS central we catch wind of a number of different strategies used to play the competition, from those that plan out a path to the end game week 38, to those that look at the bookies odds just a day before submitting their pick.

But we asked previous winner of the LMS Pauline Dermody what her strategy was and she said “pure fluke, I got the reminder text a day or so before I had to submit a team name and I just randomly picked a team”.

Congratulations to U12 Girls Ella Brennan and Kayla O’Keeffe Bolger on getting selected for the U12 Waterford Girls Development Squad. Brilliant achievement by both girls.

Reminder for Saturday night: The rescheduled 20k Drop show will take place this Saturday night at 8pm in Mooncoin parish hall.

Tickets purchased for the original show still stand or tickets can be purchased on the night. The club hope that we get as many families there on the night for what promises to be a great night with 8 people getting the chance to win €2500 each.

There will be a bar open in the hall on the night aswell. Parking will be available at the hall or at the church car park. Your continued support is very much appreciated.
