A disappointing result after doing well in the first half with a few chances coming out way but no finished product. Piltown nicked the lead on the stroke of half time and pulled away in the second half despite the efforts of Hannah on goal.
Friday
Our Dixie Dribblers Academy which is kindly Sponsored by Eastgate Engineering and the kids travelled to Carrick United on Friday evening in their new Eastgate Engineering sponsored jerseys to take on the Carrick United academy. Lots of fun was had by all the kids with plenty goals scored, tackles put in and even the odd tooth fell out. Big thank you to Keith Walsh and his crew for hosting us and thanks as always to our own coaches for their time.
Saturday
U12 Boys

De la Salle 0
A very tense game which was scoreless at half time thanks to a couple of great saves from the visiting keeper. Eventually the deadlock was broken when a long range effort from Shay deceived the keeper and this secured the three points on offer.
U14 Boys
Ballinroad 1
Mooncoin Celtic 3
The lads travelled to west Waterford knowing only a win would do to keep their chances of league glory alive against an unbeaten Ballinroad and the boys duly obliged with their best performance to date with goals from Viktor, Aaron and Ali making sure they stay in the hunt and keep the pressure on Villa and Ballinroad.
Sunday
U16A Girls
Villa 2 Mooncoin Celtic 1
A tight physical battle was played out between two evenly matched teams with Villa taking the lead in to half time but Lexi responded after half time with an equaliser. Plenty chances came and went for both sides but it was Villa who got the winner when a corner was scrambled home. Good performance from the girls who were down a few bodies.
