Next phase of works on our new pitch

After a little wait due to a number of reasons, the next phase of works on our new pitch development started this morning with Gary Flood and team commencing drainage works. Over the next few weeks, drainage works, security fencing, ball stop netting and hedging of the boundary will all be completed all going well. None of this work or previous works to date would have been possible without the support of our 300 club syndicate and Finance Committee steering it, so a massive thank you to all for their support. Exciting times just around the corner.

Dressing room developments

Our development is starting to come together. The dressing rooms are almost complete! Hopefully in the next few weeks we will have our ball stop netting and security fencing complete. Thanks to everyone for supporting our 300 Club Members Draw, without this support none of this would be possible.

Dressing room updates

Over the last few months work has been done on the old dressing room building in our new field. Walls have been knocked, wiring installed, new doors and windows installed and the space cleaned up….a lot! In the next few weeks more work will continue on the building. This could not have been achieved without the continued support from our members and the community and we would like to say a big thank you to everyone!! Watch this space for more progression pictures.

Sports Capital Grant

BREAKING NEWS

With us all in lockdown over the last few weeks and still unsure of when we will get back to some bit of normality it is nice when a bit of good news arrives.
This week a little bit of good news regarding our Development in Suir Crescent landed which we would like to share with you all.
Following our 2018 (yes 2018) Sports Capital Grant Application, we are delighted to finally receive the approval of a grant of €75000 towards the development. This is great news for the club as we get ready to move into the next stage of the development. This successful application would not have been possible without the continued support of our 300 Club Syndicate. The success of the syndicate and the money generated by it has been crucial in securing funding towards the development, so a massive thank you to all that have supported it to date and we hope this support will continue as the development progresses.
Well done to all that were involved in the securing of this grant. We will announce the next stage of planned works in due course.

New pitch before and after

As can be seen from the photos of the before and after of work to date on the new development at Suir Crescent, it is staggering and very exciting to see dreams become a reality. To enable all these works to be completed and to plan ahead for future works, it is crucial that the 300 Members Syndicate is a success as it proved in the first 12 months. The second 12 months of Mooncoin Celtic Soccer Lotto Syndicate is starting shortly and there are a small number of shares in the syndicate available to purchase. The funds raised through the syndicate is helping fund works on the new pitch development at Suir Crescent. The syndicate is made up of 300 members with a finance committee overseeing the running of the syndicate.
50 lines are purchased on behalf of the syndicate for Euro millions for every Tuesday and Friday and 50 lines for Irish Lotto for every Wednesday and Saturday.
There is also a monthly confined members draw where 3 prizes of €700,€200 and €100 are given out.A share costs €260 for the 12 months and can be paid in full, by direct debit monthly or cash monthly. It sold out very quickly last year before we even got to families or even advertised it publicly. We would love to have as many people from the area or Mooncoin people overseas involved as possible.
Let us know if you or your family are interested in joining the Syndicate by contacting one of the following:
Kevin 0876167700
Brendan 0879828150
Michelle 0863723163The last 12 months have been a big success and we hope the progress over the next 12 months will be even better.
