Adult teams are back for preseason training
Wondering what all the fuss about pre-season training is about ? Well wonder no more as Preseason training for all adult players in Mooncoin Celtic starts Wednesday evening at 6.45 in Suir Crescent.
New players as well as current players are welcome.

Waterford u16 development squad final
Its a day of good vibes and good wishes and a delight to see so many Mooncoin players involved at a National level and in this case it’s the U16 Inter League Squad who are in a National Final on Sunday v Longford in Cahir.

Match of the Day June 20th is the Girls U17 Cup Final against Park Rangers.

Please note that the venue has been changed to Graun Park, Tramore and that there is a €3 admission charge for adults (even parents of players). Children are free.

Adult Teams 2021-2022 League Review
Our 2 adult teams completed their league campaigns today with victory away to Ballinroad for our 1B team and a 3-2 win away for our 3rd division side.
After a long season which started back last July, today saw an end to a full league programme for both our teams and we will give a quick review on both squads as we pushed our schoolboys and schoolgirls reports on social media all season and held back our reports on our adult teams.

Mooncoin Celtic 3rd Division 2021-2022 League Review
In June 2021 this large group assembled hoping to make an impression in the 3rd division league with a mix of young and old involved. After a decent start where they went 8 games unbeaten before coming unstuck against a quality Carrick United team who eventually went on to win the league comfortably.
After the heavy 5-0 defeat back in October, the lads regrouped and strung a couple of wins together before falling flat against Waterford Crystal in another 5-0 loss to put paid to any lingering hopes of league glory.
A lot of positives for a new group of players but ultimately 1st is 1st and 2nd is nowhere. Congratulations to a very talented Carrick United squad on winning the League very comfortably.
