Congratulations to our most recent winner of our Schoolboys and Schoolgirls 50 50 draw, Brendan ‘The Vic’ Walsh, who scoops €177 for his €2 gamble.
Vic was in wonderment as to why it took 2 weeks to hand over a winning cheque and why he wasn’t just handed over a pot with the winning coins in it. A little explanation as to the online purchasing of tickets and making sure all the books were in order didn’t help, but no matter the cheque is now cashed, and Vic is enjoying the winnings.
Thanks for all the local support and you can be in with a chance of a winning cheque too, just slip and envelope in the local holders or buy an entry online at
MCFC’s 50-50 Split the Pot
The draw this week will be on Saturday July 9th.
Congratulations to one of our recent 50 50 draw winners, Mary Dalton who scooped €226.
Thanks as always for your continued support for our Schoolboys and Schoolgirls fortnightly draw.
This Saturday, we hold our Soccer Marathon and our Ladies Committee will be on site for the duration selling envelopes with the draw being held at 7pm. Envelopes can be bought in all local businesses or online by clicking on the link below.

Massive thanks to new jersey sponsor for our Ladies team, Ned Maher of Ardaire Springs.
Incredible generosity and as always we urge all to support local businesses, so pop up for a relaxing day fishing in Ardaire Springs, Ardera.
Disappointing scoreline but a very decent performance from our young side who stuck to their task throughout regardless of the scoreline.
Some fabulous goals by a very impressive Dungarvan team in the first half had them 5 up at half time but our girls dug in and regrouped and had a few half chances themselves before Dungarvan tagged on two late goals.
Slowly getting there, overall a very positive effort tonight, with very good performances from Aoidheann Lonergan, stand in goalkeeper Grace O’Toole and Lynne Casey this evening. Well done ladies.
