We are delighted to share the news that we have been allocated €192,263 under the Sports Capital Grant Scheme. This will be used to develop an astro turf training area and will further enhance our facilities in Suir Crescent. A big thank you has to go to all involved in recent years who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes on our Finance Committee and Club Committee. Thanks also has to go to all members of our 300 Club Syndicate over the last five years, the 300 Club has been the backbone in financing all the works over the last five years. Final thanks to our political representatives who have supported our club in recent years, Councillors Pat Dunphy and Tomas Breatnach, John Paul Phelan TD.
Congratulations to u17 player Emmet Cusack who had a busy but successful weekend at the UK Open last weekend scooping two silver and one gold medal to become British Champion just in time for the European Championship in Warsaw in a months time. No end to this young man’s talent.

Ferrybank deservedly took the three points on offer and the lads will take the positives from this after a slow start.
A tight affair up to the last few minutes saw the boys get the three points on offer. Emmet Cusack and Jamie Grace with a brace each secured the win. Tough start in this short season for a young side.
Leading 2-1 heading in to the last two minutes and it looked like a derby win but Kilmacow had other ideas and deservedly took the three points on offer. Goals from Jim and Edmund but special mention to James on goal for a cracking display of goalkeeping throughout.
The boys started very well this morning with Kieran on fire throughout and Henry and Billy also getting among the goals.
A wet damp morning saw the slicker Tramore side capitalise on mistakes and we met a goalkeeper who would not be beaten in the second half and Kieran’s deflected effort was all we saw for our efforts. Early days and better times ahead for these boys.
